There is a long list of fruits which are alkaline in nature. Talking about more common you can get apple, apricot, speckled bananas, Watermelons, Tomatoes, Melons of all kind, Grapefruits, Guavas, Coconut, Dates, Cherries, Pomegranates, Olives, Oranges and Papaya, Pears, Mangoes, Loquats and limes. Sugared, dried, preserved and canned fruits should be consumed by the people having acidic problems. Also there are some minerals which are alkaline in nature and in medical terms, they are also very important for the proper growth and functioning of the body. Calcium with pH 12, Potassium with pH 14, Sodium having pH 12 and Magnesium with pH 9 are included in these minerals.

The products that can cause disturbance in acid alkaline balance of the body and should be avoided because they have a very low pH of around 6 to 6.5 are Cigarettes, Wheat cream, Pickles, Corn bread, Cereals, Corn flakes and other such things.
