Mantra Meditation And Commitment

by Mind Body Spirit on September 4, 2010

There is one important thing to know when you start a mantra meditation practice.  What I am going to tell you about is common sense.  Unfortunately however this news is not a very popular concept.

Unfortunately in order to actually achieve the goals and objectives of your mantra meditation you will need to work.  You are going to need to put the time and the effort and the energy into your practice.

Commitment is required if you are wanting to obtain results.  You need to make the choice to commit your energy, time and work to produce the results.  Unfortunately results don’t come out of thin air.

After the initial excitement of starting your mantra meditation practice, eventually reality will set in.

You will become aware of the hard work ahead of you that is required.  This is the work that is required in order to produce the fruit, the changes.

Unfortunately mantra meditation is not a quick fix solution.  Nor is mantra meditation something you will have mastered in a week, a month or year.

Granted you will make changes, even daily changes and big changes.  Mastery however doesn’t arrive quickly.  Mastery arrives with sustained time, effort, energy and commitment.

This is not popular thinking however in the times we live in.  We live in a fast society.  Consumeristic society is where we live.  Everyone wants results yesterday, the quick result, the easy way out.  The result that requires no work.

Mantra meditation is not like that.  Changing yourself with your mantra meditation practice can happen in an instant – but it is no likely.  To change the mind and energy, time and energy are required.

Commit yourself to your mantra meditation practice when you start it and every day.  To really create the change and results you want from your mantra meditation practice, commit your time, energy to obtain the results you want.
